This is an original item I purchased about 40 years ago from the Louvre Museum. It's a reproduction of a Greek or Roman sculpture from their collection, but it was so long ago that I don't remember the name of the artwork. I couldn't find it even after searching online. It weighs approximately 650g and has a substantial feel. I suspect it's made of plaster or a similar material, but I'm not an expert, so I can't say for sure. The antique coloring has also been reproduced. Placing it next to a vase of flowers creates a slightly surreal atmosphere. Those in the art world might find it useful for sketching. Original goods from world-renowned museums are now said to be the "last brand." Replicas of the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo are abundant online, but this item was a limited edition at the time and appears to be discontinued. Approximately 19cm tall.
