We didn't want to just replicate the same pattern; we aimed for a shirt that would be difficult to find even if you were looking for it! We've received many inquiries about the material, and it's a medium-weight, rather sturdy fabric, like a heavy flannel. The base model is a 60s Five Brother flannel shirt with gussets. We've adjusted it slightly to fit Japanese people, maintaining the ruggedness of the wide body typical of American clothing from that era, and preserving the vintage feel. The silhouette is a boxy shape with a wide body. We were conscious of a natural line, not dropping the shoulders too much, and not making the sleeves too long. The sewing is entrusted to a reliable domestic workshop that also handles the Gonz jacket. We are confident in the quality and craftsmanship. As a small detail, we've lowered the position of the second button slightly.
