High-Grade Iaito (Japanese Sword for Iaido) This iaito is for beginners to intermediate practitioners of Iaido. It was made in Mino City, Seki, and is very well-balanced. The blade is made of lightweight zinc alloy. The hamon (blade pattern) is a combination of chokuba (straight) and konokoba (small straight) with a super-thin blade and a double hamon. It is lightweight and durable. The fittings are also well-made, with a Unryu (Cloud Dragon) design (copper) and a popular Tsurumaru Sukashi (Crane Circle Openwork) tsuba (handguard). There is no looseness in the tsuba or koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard). Please use it with confidence for Iaido practice, appreciation, or cosplay.
