I've been polishing it, but there's dullness and pitting due to deterioration of the plated surface. One side, especially the top, is particularly deteriorated and lacks luster, feeling rough. There's also some peeling of the plating, but no damage or cracks. Since the deterioration on the top won't be visible when mounted on the back, rear installation is recommended.
