These iconic biker boots were designed by Christophe Decarnin, who burst onto the fashion scene in the late 2000s and made a name for himself as the designer of Balmain Homme at the time. I was a huge fan of Decarnin back then, and when things were more relaxed, I used to buy items from the Paris flagship store's online store and import them myself. However, these shoes were purchased at Isetan Shinjuku. I think they cost around 140,000 yen. I believe it was around 2009 or 2010. From new, the leather texture and coloring were quite wild, giving the impression that they had already been worn a lot, so the appearance is basically almost the same as when they were new. They are made with a sturdy Goodyear welt construction, and are also extremely durable. They look very cool, and were often worn with the boot-in style that was very popular at the time, so I think it would be fun to wear them that way now.
