This is an original 1987 LP record of "Beach Party," the first album by Marine Girls, the band Tracey Thorn of Everything But the Girl was in before EBTG, released by Cherry Red (serial number "BRED 75"). The Cherry Red pressing is a rare record, trading for nearly 16,000 yen on Discogs. Famous as a neo-acoustic masterpiece, it's also highly regarded historically in the context of lo-fi and indie girl pop, as Kurt Cobain listed this album in his all-time top 50. Condition is as follows: ------------------ ・The record itself is in excellent condition, rated 8 out of 10. There are no scratches, mold, or warping. There is some minor crackling due to age, but almost no noise. I would rate it as B+ on the DISK UNION scale. ・The jacket itself has no tears, corner bends, or bottom splits, but due to the white jacket and the fact that it's a record from about 40 years ago, there are some stains here and there (see images 5 and 6).
