Antique Japanese sword fittings (fuchi and kashira). Gold filigree of a dragon god, summoning a golden wind, is applied with a level of detail that requires a magnifying glass to appreciate. Believed to be from the Edo period, the craftsmanship is exquisite and beautiful, with details unimaginable in the present day, such as the swirling wind, the dragon's scales, and the joints of its feet. By threading a leather cord or chain through the holes on the sides, it can be made into a unique choker or necklace (see photo 5). A dragon made with fine Japanese traditional craftsmanship that could never be mass-produced.
