These eggs are reddish-brown, with a high, well-defined white and a firm yolk that doesn't break easily when picked up with chopsticks. They are also known as the king of red-shell eggs. They are highly praised for their rich flavor, depth, and delicious taste. About the feed: For drinking water, we use fresh groundwater (water quality tested). We are particular about using domestic, additive-free feed, and we mix and ferment rice, wheat, rice bran, soybeans, oyster shells, fish meal, etc., ourselves. Especially, fish meal is an important nutrient that affects the taste of the eggs, so we use fresh, additive-free, made-to-order bonito fish meal sourced from Kyushu. While it is common to use scraps from farmed fish, we use only bonito, a high-quality ingredient. It eliminates the fishy smell and makes the eggs delicious. In addition to these feeds, we give them plenty of our own cultivated vegetables and green feed, which is natural green grass. Green feed contains a lot of natural vitamins and fiber, which has the effect of keeping the body slightly alkaline, making them less susceptible to disease and growing strong. My chickens do not have their beaks trimmed ※Note, so they can peck at hard things like potatoes and pumpkins, which are given during the winter when green feed is scarce. They especially love pumpkins and bamboo shoots. ※We do not administer any antibiotics, vaccines, or other medications for disease prevention or treatment, so you can enjoy them with peace of mind.
