This is a cup and saucer from Herend, a famous Hungarian porcelain manufacturer, from their representative "Rothschild Bird" series. It is said to have originated in the mid-19th century, commissioned by the wealthy Rothschild family of Europe, and is still known as a popular series representing Herend. This is a set of wavy cups and saucers with beautiful illustrations of birds and plants.
