I purchased this here in September 2024 and used it only a few times when I went back to my parents' house. It's still in good condition. When I received it, the bottom part of the cushion pad on the back side was a little black. (It's the mesh part inside, not the outer fabric) I didn't mind it at all because I used a swaddle or towel over it. There are no stains on the main body. I washed it every time I used it, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this. Separate bed pads are also sold, so you might consider using them together.
