【Japanese Traditional Craft】This is a serving bowl made by the 13th Imaizumi Imaemon, a Living National Treasure, from a famous Japanese kiln that carries on the tradition of Iro-Nabeshima. This serving bowl features the Nishiki Akatama pattern, drawn in the unique Iro-Nabeshima traditional design of Imaemon. The beautiful designs are all hand-painted. The bowl has been repaired with kintsugi. The kintsugi repair was done by Mr. Shin Nobutoshi, a modern master craftsman.
