The studs were all removed from vintage belts and clothing and then reattached by hand, one by one, using claw-type fasteners. The snake skin on the pockets is genuine. This was also repurposed from snake leather belts. The skull on the left hem is from a T-shirt of UNHOLY GRAIL, which cost around 20,000 yen, and was applied as is. The leather for the eyes is genuine stingray leather. They are secured with sturdy studs to prevent them from coming off. This is a very elaborate remake. About 15 years ago, there was an import denim boom, and brands like TRUE RELIGION were very popular. Seeing brands like Grail, SALVAGE, Great China Wall, and religion being sold at incredibly high prices at ROYAL FLASH and Barneys New York, I thought I could create my own designs that I liked better, so I made this. I've only worn it once or twice, so the condition is very good. I've kept it carefully as a one-of-a-kind item, but I thought it would be a shame to just leave it unworn, so I'm putting it up for sale.
