This is a compact camera with a 10x zoom lens, equivalent to 38-380mm in 35mm format. It runs on AA batteries, so you can use it with peace of mind. I have confirmed that it works, and both shooting and playback are fine. Included are the camera, instruction manual, and lens cap. An XD card is not included.
