Dom Pérignon Dom Pérignon is a cuvée millésime champagne made using equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 100% of its own Grand Cru-rated vineyards. Dom Pérignon was born in the name of the Benedictine monk Dom Pérignon, who accidentally created champagne when he bottled and left wine that was fermenting. Only grapes grown in years with excellent harvests are used for the new Dom Pérignon. 2015, Richness and Harmony 2015 was a year with significant weather fluctuations, which brought blessings to winemaking. The low temperatures in spring were followed by a hot, dry summer that lasted until the end of August, creating a temperature difference. The harvest began on September 7th under the bright sunshine. The grapevines were healthy and in perfect condition, blessed with fruits that were rich and harmonious.
