I purchased this used as a spare. It's a large-bore, yellow brass bell with a nickel silver (German silver) slide. The list price was 80,000 yen, and the actual selling price seems to be around 60,000 yen. It's very similar to a Bach 42B. I tried it with my Bach 42BO, and the slides are compatible, but the main tuning slide is not (the sizes are slightly different). It seems like it wasn't used much and was stored away, as the F-attachment and rotary valves were initially stuck, but they now move smoothly. The bumpers and rotary valve bumpers have been replaced. The exterior looks clean at first glance, but there are some areas where the lacquer has peeled. This is most noticeable on the left side of the bell. Also, some parts of the bell rim are rusty. The slide support ring is missing. It was in the way for me, so it's actually convenient. The previous owner may have intentionally removed it. The ring itself is still available. The slide falls under its own weight when tilted. There's a bit of a gritty feel, but I think it's within an acceptable range with slide cream. I used it for a while combined with the bell section of my Bach 42BO. Although the build quality is somewhat lacking due to it being an inexpensive instrument, it was surprisingly easy to play. I'm a beginner, so I can't make a proper judgment, but I think it's usable as is. I washed the case because it was dirty. I think it's much better now. I plan to wrap this case in bubble wrap for shipping. I will try to respond as quickly as possible, but please allow up to a week for shipping as it will take some time to pack.
