The cuffs (around the wrists) don't have much give, but they block the wind, and it's comfortable to wear if you have thin layers underneath. It's made of sturdy sweatshirt material with a fleece lining, so it's warm. There's some slight pilling around the sleeves, but it's not very noticeable.
