This is a professional-grade, Japanese-made Mushroom P-Bass, manufactured around 1980 during the Fender head era. Its sound is characterized by thick, resonant lows reminiscent of Fender USA vintage instruments, combined with a well-defined midrange similar to those found in momose / Vanzandt / g7 special guitars. It also has excellent note separation and a strong natural resonance. This instrument is distinctly different from the entry-level Mushroom basses currently available on the market, representing a period when they were only produced when high-quality wood could be sourced. Production numbers were low, and documented examples are limited. (See photo 8) 【Condition】 ・Fret remaining: Approximately 70% ・Truss rod: Slightly stiff, but movement of over 90 degrees has been confirmed. ・Neck: Straight, in good condition. ・Weight: Approximately 4.38kg There are signs of wear and tear appropriate for its age. While there are no official documents to confirm the fingerboard material, based on the grain, color, pore structure, and the specifications of other instruments from that era, it is highly likely that it is made of Brazilian rosewood. Accessories: Soft case Packaging: Will be carefully packed and shipped in a musical instrument cardboard box with bubble wrap. P-Bass / Precision Bass
