Cherry is a slightly hard material, so it is more suitable for use on Nagado drums than on Shime or Oke-do drums. It is softer than Kashi (oak), so when hitting the rim, the drumsticks will dent, but please consider this as a way to prevent the drum from denting. I have other items for sale.
