The folds are very distinct, and when held up to the light, the fabric appears thin in places. Also, one of the threads connecting the ribs is frayed. See the last image. It's a tri-fold, and you fold it by snapping the ribs. It doesn't fold automatically into thirds. I'm selling it at a low price, so please consider this used item with understanding.
