Case Deterioration_Hinge Collapse_8GB-CF Boot_ PowerBook 5300Ce_Many Accessories ■ Until recently (251010), the hinges were not cracked and it was running smoothly, but when I opened the monitor section for the first time in a while, the hinges collapsed and the power supply became unstable. If repaired, it should definitely work. I have confirmed that OS8.5 boots. Please refer to the photos. ■ There is almost no dirt, but due to the age of the model, there is multiple case deterioration (cracks), so I will sell it to someone who knows more about it. Kapton tape has been applied to the cracked areas so that they are clearly visible, and reinforcement is underway with A5052-t0.5 aluminum plates, but it seems like a temporary measure, and it may be necessary to replace the case itself with a different material. ■ Trackpad: The resin of the click SW base has come off. For safety, I have included a genuine bus mouse. ・CPU: PPC-603e_117MHz ・RAM: 64MB ・CF-card: 8GB_OS8.5 installed for confirmation ・LCD: There are no problems with the display when viewed from the front, but the backlight is weak, and it looks uneven when viewed from an angle. ・OS-CD: None. ・Internal Li battery: The clock is always off because it cannot be charged. It is still possible to obtain a new one, so I recommend replacing it. ・Ni-H battery: Cannot be charged. The case is cracked.
