This fleece jacket is a heritage model from THE NORTH FACE, developed for expeditions in 1989. The original specifications have been retained, with adjustments made to the sizing. The recycled microfleece material, made from recycled plastic bottles, is lightweight, thick, and soft to the touch. It effectively traps dead air, keeping the interior of the garment at a comfortable temperature, and the drawcord at the hem can be tightened to further increase airtightness. The shoulders and elbows, which are prone to contact with a pack, are reinforced with recyclable nylon fabric.
