About ALASKA Leather:
This is artistic shoulder leather with a waxed grain, manufactured by La Perla Azzurra in the Santa Croce sull'Arno region of Tuscany, Italy.
It has a natural grain (shrink) and is slightly soft due to the oil content, but the fibers are dense due to the pressing during the back processing, resulting in a firm finish.
As for the leather's properties, it is vegetable-tanned, dye-finished, and made using the Vacchetta method, so the leather is well-oiled. It will change to a deep color the more you use it, and you can enjoy the aging process as it develops a natural luster.
