They can be used separately. ▼ Please be sure to read the following ▼ 〜※ Information from the seller when I purchased this〜 When I tried this on, the weight of the knit caused the bust area to sag with just the halter neck support, so I paid a professional to add shoulder straps, as I felt more support was needed. Please check photos 9 and 10. The back style is X-shaped, and the finish is beautiful. It no longer sags, and it's comfortable to wear. If you don't need them, you can cut the threads with sewing scissors to remove the straps. I had it altered to make it easier to use, so I'm selling it as is. It was only tried on and is unused.
