The purchase date is written on the underside. One owner. It is natural wood, but the type of wood is unknown. The playing surface has small scratches from use, but they are not very noticeable. Due to the natural wood, there appears to be slight warping, and it wobbles slightly when placed on a hardwood floor. It can likely be fixed by placing felt on one spot. It will be sold as is, so the price has been reduced. It has been stored in its original box for over 30 years. The original box is made of paper and has some wear from storage, but it has protected the shogi board. Shipping will be done by wrapping the original box in cushioning material.
