Kimekomi Doll "Shusse-Goi" (Successful Career Carp) May Festival Kintaro Fishing for Carp New Year's Festival, Kintaro's Rise to Success This item is from about 55 years ago. It was only displayed a few times back then and has been stored in the storage room of my parents' house. This is a luxurious Kintaro doll made with kimekomi technique, using Kinren-donsu fabric. The large carp is also very impressive. Doll's height (including eboshi hat): Approximately 25cm There appear to be no major scratches or damage, but it is a long-term storage item. There are stains on the right sleeve area and the bottom. The white paper of the eboshi hat has yellowed with age (it seems easy to replace by folding copy paper in a zigzag pattern). *The black lacquered board in the image cannot be included with the doll due to its shape, and is listed separately.
