Official name: LIGHTWEIGHT SERVICE MASK The flap, stamped with the insignia of the Army Chemical Warfare Service, is secured by three buttons. The inside is lined with felt fabric to protect the mask. It has three pockets and a shoulder strap with a double hook on one side. The sub-belt for securing the bag to the body and the inner strap are also present. These are often missing. It has minor soiling appropriate for its age, but the stamp is clear, with little fading, and no tears; a mint condition. The middle button is unusually stiff, so it's best not to fasten it.
