Origin: Inner Mongolia, China The main component of She Tai Cui is silicon dioxide, SiO2 quartz rock jade. Its density is 2.659/cm3 and its hardness is 7, falling within the category of jadeite, and it is often used for carving. Excavated since 2007, it has properties similar to jade, and was officially named "She Tai Cui (shē, tài, cuì)" after the local name "佘太镇" (She Tai Town), with the addition of "翠" (cui, meaning jade). It shows more noticeable aging than jade, and you can enjoy its greater luster and gloss♪ Compared to jade, it has a richer color palette, is easier to bring out its luster, and is also relatively affordable. It contains a variety of trace elements and is said to balance the mind and body, and provide a calming effect.
