These cushions are carefully filled with batting one by one in a domestic factory, and the center of the cushion is bound with a traditional Japanese thread (with tassels). Instead of fluffy batting like a cushion, approximately 1 kg of heavy batting is used. These are very popular for guest use and for Buddhist memorial services.
