Layering allows for a peek-a-boo effect from the back. I bought this because the red color and lace are cute, but I haven't had a chance to wear it and it's been stored away. I have washed it, but it has not been worn. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about minor details. Thank you for your understanding.
