It is believed to be an old work based on the finishing. [8] Shape: Natural Inkstone ◉ Beautiful red stone produced in Hachinohe, Kitagawa Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, is said to be an ideal raw stone for inkstones due to its fine texture. It was named Benkei Stone because its color and stone quality are comparable to Chinese Duanxi stone. ○ This work effectively utilizes the natural stone of Benkei stone and is crafted with an overall soft and well-balanced shape. The stone pattern is clearly visible, with a reddish-brown base and a horizontal flow across the ink sea and hills.
