The film is an animation of eight short stories drawn by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the manga artist known for "Chainsaw Man" and "Look Back," between the ages of 17 and 26, and included in the two volumes of "Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection 17-21" and "Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection 22-26." The film includes "There Were Two Chickens in the Garden," which depicts the bond between two survivors in a world where humanity has been destroyed; "Sasaki-kun Stopped the Bullet," where the impulses of adolescence explode; "Love is Blind," a sci-fi romantic comedy where love goes wild on a cosmic scale; "Shikaku," which depicts the runaway love of a killer girl with a screw loose; "Mermaid Rhapsody," a love story between a boy and a mermaid played by a piano in the sea; "I Woke Up and Became a Girl Disease," which depicts finding "oneself" beyond the boundaries of gender; "Nayuta of Prophecy," a story of the rebirth of siblings with a harsh destiny; and "Sister's Sister," which depicts the jealousy, conflict, and growth of sisters who are dedicated to drawing. Seven directors, including Tetsuaki Watanabe of the TV anime "Blue Lock," Nobuyuki Takeuchi of the movie "Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?," and Kazuaki Terasawa of the TV anime "The Ancient Magus' Bride SEASON2," and six studios, ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS, are participating. The voice cast includes a gorgeous lineup of voice actors such as Kensho Ono, Shun Horie, Kana Hanazawa, and Tomokazu Sugita. It will be distributed on Amazon Prime Video from November 8, 2025. Prior to that, it will be shown in theaters in major cities in Japan for a limited two-week run from October 17, 2025.
