I have two pieces of pottery, a demitasse cup & saucer and a deep dish, from an unknown artist. I suspect it might be Mashiko-yaki due to the thick, hand-formed feel and rustic, unrefined construction, but I don't know for sure. They have been displayed in a cabinet for a long time, but I am selling them now to declutter. It seems the artist creates the pieces after texturing the clay with mesh or cloth.
