It is a vintage rug known as Alikhoja, highly praised for its intricate handiwork. As you can see from the back, it is woven with fine knots, and the meticulously drawn patterns captivate the viewer. Although it is a 55-year-old vintage rug, it shows little wear and tear, with no noticeable stains or damage, but the shirazes have all been repaired. The pile itself is short and has a smooth texture, and the size is just right for an entryway or desk area.
