It is believed to be a work by the artist, Fuei Fujikawa. This is a very lovely kokeshi doll with a rounded bob hairstyle, a vibrant red kimono, and a golden floral pattern. It is a valuable item made as a souvenir of Lake Hamana tourism or as a local folk craft. While utilizing traditional craft techniques, the modern and warm design is perfect for not only Japanese-style rooms but also as an accent for Scandinavian or natural interiors.
