It replicates the original's details, including the indentation in the center of the belt and the double snap, as well as the stud placement. Unlike those with studs hammered into cut leather, this uses thinly skived cowhide, the same as used in wallets and belts, folded over and sewn to the back leather. This allows it to soften and develop a rich patina with use. This time, it uses glazed (shiny) UK bridle leather, and Tochigi leather for the back leather.
