Used double bass strings: Belcanto, orchestra tuning, medium tension, 5-string set. Purchased new and used on an instrument for about a year and a half. Actual playing time was less than a year. The H string was used for two and a half years. All strings show fraying on the silk windings and peg winding areas, but they are still supple and have no major damage. They are still usable. Please understand that these are used items, and those who are sensitive to such things should refrain from purchasing.
