The waist is made of navy velvet material. It has stretch. It's easy to mix and match, either as a set or as separates, so it's very useful. I purchased this in excellent condition two months ago, and I've worn it a few times, so I think it's in excellent condition (in my opinion❣️). There are a few pills on the back where the hands touch, but it's not very noticeable because of the pattern. The front and back have the same design, and the neckline was a bit too low, so I've lightly stitched it. I will send it as is. I think if you undo it, the shoulders will droop, so please try it on as is.
