I bought it with enthusiasm, but it was a high-priced item for me, and I rarely wore it because I didn't want to damage it. There are no missing buttons, and I don't see any scratches or scuffs. There is no smoking or pets. There are some wrinkles on the sleeves, but I think there's still plenty of enjoyment to be had in breaking it in. The material is horsehide, and the hand-finished treatment gives the leather surface a warmth and a soft feel. The wrinkles and grain unique to horsehide are used effectively, creating an overwhelming atmosphere. The lining uses a cotton-wool fabric for warmth, and a red-based check pattern cotton flannel with good sleeve-sliding properties is used for the sleeve lining. Regarding the silhouette, it's slightly more relaxed than the Brakeman, with a beautiful A-line shape. There are a total of four front pockets. There are symmetrical welt slash pockets on both sides of the chest, and flap pockets with artistic curves are located below them on the hem. The union ticket is attached to the inside of the left front hem pocket, and beige cotton flannel fabric is used for the inside of all pockets. You can feel Free Wheeler's commitment even in places you can't see. The collar is a double collar, and when it's cold, you can change the look by using the button on the back of the right collar to make it a single collar. The cuffs have inner ribbing for warmth and wind protection, and the design of the cuffs is also outstanding. Ventilation is provided under the arms for breathability. The tag is the old-style "NEAL CASSADY RAIL ROAD" tag with an illustration, which is also a highlight. The color is core-dyed black, not tea-core, so it won't turn brown from friction or rubbing even as you wear it in.
