This is a Kubota Slugger L7S hardball glove for infielders. Kazuo Matsui used this model during his active career, and now many professional baseball players, including Takuya Nakajima of the Nippon-Ham Fighters, use the L7S as the base for their custom-made gloves. This is a historically significant model within Slugger, and it's still used by many players today. The glove has been professionally broken in with the "yumomi" method by someone who works with famous professional baseball players and players from corporate baseball teams and high school teams that have participated in Koshien (with one year of training at the Slugger Fukuoka branch). While it has been "yumomi" treated, it still retains a moderate stiffness, and you can reshape it to your liking if you don't like the current shape. The little finger area has a "little finger hook" for easy opening and closing of the glove, and it's designed to make it easier to catch the ball with a backhand. The hand opening is a "covered" design, making the glove easier to handle. If you prefer, you can change it back to a regular tie and a regular hand opening. The little finger hook can also be removed. I selected "new, unused" because it has only been used for light catch. Thank you. For reference, the "yumomi" treatment and the little finger hook processing cost 10,000 yen, so the price is set considering that cost. Currently, the L7S is out of stock at Slugger's Tokyo and Fukuoka branches, and it's not available in the manufacturer's inventory. Currently, you can only purchase it by ordering or from retailers that have the L7S in stock. It is compatible with high school baseball. Although it is new, it has been "yumomi" treated and stored at home, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
