This is a small steel drum, approximately 7.5cm in diameter and 4.5cm in height. I had it displayed as interior decoration in my room for a while. It has been cleaned of dust. When struck with the included mallet, it produces a beautiful sound reminiscent of a suikinkutsu (a type of Japanese garden ornament). Although it is a musical instrument, it is small, so the sound is also quite quiet. It might be pleasant to play in a quiet place. I have not done things like dripping water on it, as seen online. It's inexpensive, so how about trying it out?
