This is a small plate purchased at an antique market. It's a gorgeous little plate. With plum blossoms and chrysanthemums, the shapes and colors are varied, and the small birds look cheerful. The depth is expressed with sometsuke (blue and white underglaze), which is very detailed. The upper part has a deformed window with arabesque patterns in red and gold. This elevates the plate's status. The body has characters. The mark is "Fuku" (福), meaning "fortune" or "happiness." There is a small chip on the rim.
