This is a used item. It has scratches, dirt, rust, and sun damage. There are no malfunctions that would interfere with use. It has been modified and has extra holes, so please consider this before purchasing. The batter head can be used, but it shows significant wear and is damaged. The included lifter is a cheap one that can be found on Amazon and is not very good. Please consider it as an extra. This is an old Yamaha Martin bass drum, 18x14 inches, MB818, from the made in Japan era. I found this and modified it for use when I was looking for an 18-inch YD9000 series. It's made of birch and has similar hardware, so I thought it looked like a 9000, but even after getting a BD918, I preferred this one, perhaps due to individual differences, and I sold the 918. I've used it for a long time, so I'm sad to let it go, but I have too much equipment, so I have to let it go. Thank you. Additional Information: The modifications use Pearl parts.
