The far-infrared effect allows you to reheat rice in the microwave, making it fluffy again. The fine-grained petallite clay retains moisture appropriately, and when heated in the microwave, it restores the rice to its delicious state. It can hold about 2 cups of cooked rice. It is made of a material that will not crack even when placed over direct heat. (Dry heating is not recommended.)
