This is an antique Meisen silk kimono. The fine geometric pattern has a modern feel and would look great with a unique obi. It appears to have been worn very little, and the fabric is crisp, but there are small moth holes in the muslin lining of the hem at the back center (see image 10), and there is a pinhole of about 2mm on the front side. Also, the white areas look somewhat dull, but this is consistent throughout, so it may be that the white was originally slightly yellowish. If you like antiques, you should be able to wear it without any problems. However, as it is an old item, there may be some age-related discoloration. This is not suitable for those who are concerned about minor details, so please understand this before purchasing.
