This is a 1/700 scale precision finished model (super detail) of the Ticonderoga-class missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay CG-53. This class was based on the Spruance-class destroyer and was built from 1980 to 1994 as the first combatant equipped with the Aegis system and SPY phased array radar. Mobile Bay was built as the 7th ship of Baseline 2, equipped with Mk.41 VLS, and was deployed to the Pacific Fleet. The 122-cell Mk.41 VLS was highly valued, including on other ships of the same class, and it participated in many conflicts and military operations, but it was decommissioned in 2023 along with the rest of the class. ・Please feel free to consult us about after-market parts such as aircraft. ・A pre-painted hull bottom part and a pedestal for the full hull model are included.
