Two sheets of Italian luxury leather, Buttero, split leather, approximately 1.5-2.0mm thick. This is vegetable-tanned split leather, so aging and edge finishing are both possible. However, there are also disadvantages, such as lower durability compared to leather with the grain side. It can be used for backing thin leather, as a core material, or roughened with sandpaper to create a nubuck-like texture. Photo 4 shows a piece made using two A4 size sheets. It's reversible and can be used on either side. Photos 5, 6, and 7 show a tote bag made using this leather. The size is approximately A3. It's twice the size of A4 copy paper.
