This is a dress from Issey Miyake's first line. It's a rare piece. The design is very elaborate. The front has a lace-like overlay on top of the original pattern. It's a combination of polyester pleats and a slightly larger pleat-like section made of cotton and polyester. I loved it very much and treasured it, but I haven't worn it recently.
