● This is a modified BOSS TU-2. It's an essential tuner for guitar and bass, but the buffer section has been modified to improve the sound. Several capacitors and resistors have been replaced, and the solder joints have been improved, resulting in a focused, core sound. The sound improves just by passing through either the upper OUT (with mute) or the lower BYPASS OUT. It's "just" a tuner, but it's also convenient as a mute switch, and it's the effect pedal I use the most, with the sound always passing through it. I always list the same item, but it's a different unit each time. This time it comes with the original box and instruction manual, and it's a clean unit.
