This is a tsumami zaiku hairpin made with silk fabric and pearls. It's finished with gold stamens for a華やか (gorgeous) look. A version with leaves is also available. It's designed to match modern arrangements, such as Korean-inspired, pale-toned, and dolly-style looks, when wearing a kimono or yukata. It's a fusion of Japanese and Western styles.
