The food dish is made of plastic. It is fixed with dowels but can be removed. The posts, roof, and base are connected with bolts. They can be easily removed with a screwdriver. The finish is an oil-based, anti-corrosion and insect-repellent stain. The colors used are a 3-color mix of walnut, light oak, and teak. The stain provides rot, long-term anti-corrosion and anti-mold effects. It is water-resistant, weather-resistant, and has insect repellent properties.
